Updates to the Rental Bonds Portal (July 2026)

The ACT Revenue Office is continuing to improve the Rental Bonds Portal to support the management of bonds.
Changes when requesting a bond refund
You must now provide the tenancy end date when lodging an application to request a bond refund.
If an application for a bond refund is made before the tenancy agreement ends, the Rental Bonds Office may contact you to check the application is able to be processed before the tenancy end date.

Changes when lodging a bond
When lodging a bond, you must now enter the first name and last name of each party to the bond in separate fields.
This will help clearly identify all parties to the bond and assist tenants in linking their bonds through the tenant portal.

Ensure you are using the most recent version of the Rental Bonds Portal
To ensure you are using the most recent version of the Rental Bonds Portal, you should sign out of your account after each session. To do this, click your profile name in the top right-hand corner of the portal and select Sign out from the drop-down menu.
