Apprentices and trainees payment

Support for ACT apprentices and trainees with cost of living will continue in 2025-26.

Eligible apprentices and trainees will receive a $250 payment, with first-year apprentices and trainees receiving an additional $250 to help cover the cost of tools and equipment.

Eligible apprentices and trainees will be contacted directly via the email that they registered with their training contract from 1 July 2025. The email will include directions on the application process.
