The Homebuilder Grant (Grant) is a Commonwealth grants program administered by the ACT Revenue Office (ACTRO). There is a range of eligibility criteria which owner-occupier applicants need to meet before a grant can be paid.
To assist ACTRO in managing applications in a timely manner, there is a 2-part process:
Part A: Registration. Complete the form below as part of your application for the Grant. Completing this form does not in any way constitute eligibility for the Grant. You must lodge the Part A form by 31 December 2020 for your application to be considered.
Part B: Detailed Application. A comprehensive application form (coming soon) will be available for you to complete the second part of the application. This form requires detailed information about you, your builder, type of construction, as well as detailed supporting documentation.
Additional information on the Grant can be found here, or contact the ACTRO on (02) 6207 0028 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Your personal information is collected for the purposes of administering the Grant. If you do not provide that information, the ACTRO may not be able to determine your eligibility for the Grant and could lead to delays in processing.
Personal information provided to the ACTRO is protected by the Information Privacy Act 2014. Information (including personal information) is not disclosed to any third party without the consent of the person involved, unless authorised by law. For example, the ACTRO may be required to disclose information to organisations that have legal authority to require the information in prescribed circumstances, including for law enforcement purposes. Personal information collected for the Grant is unlikely to be disclosed to overseas recipients.
