Land tax exemption application form

This form is used to apply to the Commissioner for ACT Revenue for one of the following exemptions from land tax:

  • Extension of the two year deceased estate exemption, and
  • Compassionate grounds (available for up to 12 months)

Declare that by submitting this form I understand that giving false and misleading information, including giving information that is false or misleading because something has been omitted, is a serious criminal offence; and I declare that the information provided in this form is true and correct; and I agree to notify the ACT Revenue Office within 30 days and provide full details of a change in circumstances that may affect my land tax liability, including change of contact or address details and property status.

Acknowledge that under section 338 of the Criminal Code 2002, giving false or misleading information is a serious offence.
