Payment options for rates and land tax payments, including Fire & Emergency Services Levy and the City Centre Marketing and Improvements Levy are:

Direct Debit

BPAY

Contact your financial institution to enable payments to be made with electronic bill payment BPAY.

EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer)

Contact your financial institution to make an EFT payment from your cheque or savings account.

Online (Access Canberra)

ACT Government online payments can be made via the Access Canberra Website at: Online Payments - Access Canberra (external site)

In Person (Access Canberra Service Centres)

Accepted payment methods include debit and credit cards (Visa/Mastercard only). Access Canberra does not accept cash. Cheques are only accepted at Mitchell.

Australia Post

Any Australia Post office or post office agency, accepted payment methods include cash, cheque, EFTPOS, Visa or Mastercard.

To make a payment over the telephone contact Access Canberra Contact Centre on 13 22 81. Please ensure you have your account number, payment amount and credit card ready. Please note only Visa and Mastercard are accepted
